Why fashion brands are measuring production CO₂e
Under the EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and Germany's Lieferkettensorgfaltspflichtengesetz (LkSG), fashion brands are now required to measure and disclose Scope 3 emissions — including content production. How the calculator works
Each generated asset consumes credits (0.000167 g CO₂e per credit). We compare that to a deliberately conservative 1.5 kg CO₂e per-garment baseline for an equivalent physical shoot. This is the identical computation that produces and cryptographically signs your per-campaign Sustainability Certificate — one number, one source of truth.
For formal CSRD reporting, figures should be validated by a certified LCA practitioner. This calculator provides directional estimates for internal planning and communications.
